Man shot by police gets prison sentence

A man who was shot by police in September near the State Capitol in Lincoln is going to prison.
 
A Lancaster County judge sentenced 19 year old Tareik Artis to 17 to 22 years in prison for his no contest plea in March to drug and weapons charges. A Lancaster County sheriff's deputy and a deputy U.S. Marshal shot Artis on September 22nd after he pointed handgun at them as he ran from a Lincoln Police officer following a traffic stop.
