Lincoln Police say a man who died in a YMCA swimming pool on Tuesday was a retired University of Nebraska-Lincoln professor.
Police say 66 year old Allan McCutcheon was found unresponsive in the Cooper YMCA pool by a lifeguard and other swimmers. McCutcheon was a chairman of survey science and professor of statistics and survey research and methodology at the UNL-Gallup Research Center in Lincoln.
An autopsy has been ordered.
