A measure in the Nebraska legislature, to ban discrimination against LGBT employees in the workplace moved forward Friday.
Bill sponsor Adam Morfeld tweeted this afternoon that the measure advanced out of the judiciary committee.
If the measure becomes law, it would make it illegal for an employer to fire someone based on their sexual orientation or gender identity.
