Update: Omaha Police say missing 12-year-old, Paw Ku, was located in Milan, Missouri. The 12-year-old was reported missing by family and believed to be with a 23-year-old boyfriend.

The FBI offered assistance to OPD's Special Victims Unit and located Ku around 3 a.m. She was taken into protective custody.

Original Story: Omaha Police Lieutenant Tracy Scherer gave an update on 12-year-old Paw Ku, who was last seen on Jan. 9.

According to Scherer, Ku is likely with her boyfriend Eh Tha Ger, who is 23-years-old. Neither of their parents approved of the relationship and it was Ku's parents who called the police when she did not come home.

Scherer said Ku and her boyfriend are likely still in the Omaha area and police the believe the pair does not want to be found.

Ku was last seen near 51st and Maple streets. Paw is 5-feet tall, weighs 100 pounds and has blonde hair with brown eyes and was last seen wearing a pink sweater.

Even though Ku is considered a runaway, OPD is asking the public for help in locating Ku due to her young age.

"Her age and her behaviors of who she associates herself with and given her prior runs, her behavior puts her at risk," said Scherer.
