Another round of wintry weather left many struggling to get around, especially on the roads.
"It's Nebraska we are always going to have weather like this," said Shanel Mclemore.
Waking up to freezing rain and ice is no joke, especially when you have to get out and drive in it.
"I need to be safe and make sure I have extra stuff in my car in case anything happens," said Mclemore.
Mclemore says she has a lot to do this weekend, so a little ice won't stop the show.
"I actually have a work party I will be attending this evening for NP Dodge, so hopefully I can make it there safely and get back safely," said Mclemore.
Despite snow and ice covering just about everything outside, she says it's really not that bad.
"The weather is nice, so hopefully it stays like this," said Mclemore.
For those traveling, it comes down to safety.
"Buckle up, don't be on your phone, pay attention to everyone else," said Jacob Scott.
"The main roads were good, the sidewalks were slippery, the parking lots were bad they were pretty icy," said Scott.
Something he says he saw coming.
"I was out last night and it was already kind of of starting, so I was expecting it, "said Scott.
He says this is normal.
"I'm used to it, and I work in construction, I'm always out in these elements," said Scott.
Still, he's hoping for a change.
"Yea I am ready for the spring," said Scott.
Authorities are urging drivers to slow down and pay attention to the road to stay safe.
