Mother and son sentenced for selling drugs

A federal judge sentenced a Lincoln mother and son to prison for selling synthetic marijuana. 

Allen Peithman will serve 10 years and Sharon Elder will serve five. In 2015, a grand jury indicted the pair for selling drugs and paraphernalia at at Dirt Cheap and Island Smokes, their two head shops. 

In addition, the government has fined them more than $1 million.
