Mills County deputies are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon.
Deputies say Patrick Serrano, Sr. of Council Bluffs died after the motorcycle he was driving struck the back of a stopped pickup truck at 221st Street and Elrod Avenue just north of Glenwood. The pickup was stopped behind another vehicle that was waiting to turn onto Elrod Avenue.
Serrano's passenger, Shannon Nibbe of Council Bluffs was taken to Nebraska Medicine for treatment.
