Nebraska education system ranks top 10

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — According to a recent study by WalletHub, Nebraska's education system ranks in the top 10 of the country.

To conduct the study, WalletHub measured elements like quality and safety, math test scores, reading test scores, median SAT scores, dropout rates, and percent of licensed/certified public K-12 teachers.

Nebraska ranked 7th in safety and 11th in quality in its school system. Iowa has the lowest drop out rate in schools.

The study ranks Iowa 14th. The study cites Massachusetts as the best school system and New Mexico as the worst.
