A van carrying Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts was involved in a crash Wednesday morning in Lincoln, according to the governor’s office.

Officials say Ricketts and the trooper who was driving him were not injured.

It happened around 7 a.m. at the intersection of 13th and Washington streets.

The driver of a pickup truck involved in the two-vehicle wreck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The Lincoln Police Department is investigating, but the governor’s office says the pickup truck driver ran a stop sign.
