The Nebraska State Fire Marshal's office is warning businesses to look out for imposters.
They have received reports of businesses receiving calls from someone claiming to be deputy fire marshals.

The caller tells them to take action on fire safety procedures.
In one case, a restaurant complied with the caller's order to conduct a fire drill so they could time the evacuation and activate the fire extinguishing system as they left.
Fire Marshals are recommending the public to ask the individual for identification.
If you receive any of these phone calls, you are recommended to State Marshal's agency at 402-471-2027
