The Nebraska State Patrol has released the results of Click it or Ticket campaign which ran from May 21-June 3.
The State Patrol gave 2,691 citations in total, with more than 60 percent going to speeding tickets. Another 101 citations were handed out for not wearing seatbelts and there were also 231 drug and alcohol related citations.
The campaign included high-visibility patrols, special enforcement areas and vehicle checks.
Earlier this week, Omaha Police released the results of their Click it or Ticket campaign.
