OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Late last week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released the most recent flu occurrence data. Nebraska was listed as having the highest flu activity in the country.
Xofluza is a new single dose flu medicine, and it is available in pharmacies nationwide. Xofluza was approved by the FDA in October 2018.
Xofluza is the first novel flu medicine approved in nearly 20 years and is intended for the treatment of uncomplicated influenza in people aged 12 and older who have had flu symptoms for no more than 48 hours.
