Flooding of rivers and creeks is causing a transportation nightmare around the state as water is inundating roads.
This drone video was sent to us by Kara Allbaugh, showing Shell Creek flooding out a portion of Highway 81 in Platte Center, just north of Columbus.
Police and emergency responders are reminding everyone to "Turn Around - Don't Drown". If you see flood waters on a road, do not try to drive through it.
Just a foot of fast moving water can sweep a car off the road.
