OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Nebraska State Patrol says three suspects have been arrested in separate investigations for child pornography possession or possession of methamphetamine.
Colin Gierke, 24, was arrested on Wednesday after investigators say a search warrant revealed more than 100 images of child pornography in a cloud-based storage account and additional images on devices at his home. He was arrested for possession and distribution of child pornography and lodged in Lancaster County Jail.
Shane Smith, 50, was arrested Thursday after investigators say a search warrant found multiple images of child pornography and methamphetamine at his home in Bruning. Smith is a registered sex offender.
Michael Taylor, 53, was arrested Friday for possession of child pornography after the execution of a search warrant at his Grand Island home. He was lodged in Hall County Jail.
Nebraska State Patrol received tips about the suspects from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
