A car traveling at high speed slammed into the back of a semi, but the driver walked away, according to the Nebraska State Patrol.
NSP Troop D, headquartered in North Platte, tweeted out photos of the crash with a warning to drivers about driving under the influence. According to a witness, the driver of the car had traveled into the ditch and back onto the road before hitting the back of the semi.
The driver of the vehicle survived and was charged with driving under the influence, NSP said in the tweet.
