NSP seizes 381 pounds of marijuana

In two separate stops within four minutes of each other, the Nebraska State Patrol seized a total of 381 pounds of marijuana. 

The first stop occurred near Aurora at 4:32 p.m. where troopers seized 326 pounds of marijuana and 1.4 pounds of marijuana edibles. 

Larry Guieb of Indiana was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and no drug tax stamp. 

The second occurred on I-80 near Giltner at mile marker 322. An NSP K9 detected the presence of a controlled substance. John Young, 51, was arrested for possession of marijuana when 55 pounds were found in the vehicle. 

The 381 pounds of marijuana have an estimated street value of $1.14 million.
