NSP seizes almost 400 LBs of pot during traffic stops

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) seized 399 pounds of marijuana during multiple traffic stops yesterday.

Near Lincoln, 50-year-old Richard Huckaba, of Ruston, Louisiana was stopped for allegedly driving on the shoulder of I-80. When stopped, he was found to be in possession of 180 pounds of marijuana.

Huckaba was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and no drug tax stamp. He was lodged in Lancaster County Jail.

Near Utica, 60-year-old Rebecca Jayne, of Selma, Oregon was stopped for allegedly failing to signal. During the stop a K9 unit detected marijuana and Jayne was found to be in possession of 219 pounds of it, covered in the bed of the pickup she was driving.

Jayne was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and no drug tax stamp. She was lodged in Seward County Jail.
