An area spa is hit with another lawsuit stemming from a string of sexual assault allegations against a former employee.
On Friday, attorneys for the accuser, referred to as Jane Doe #4, filed the suit against Oasis Massage and Spa which is where Melvin Buffington, 62, worked.
In the suit, it alleges negligence and invasion of privacy while causing humiliation and emotional injuries among other damages.
The accuser says the incident occurred Jan. 12 when Buffington “ during the course of a massage, inappropriately touched and assaulted the plaintiff.”
The former masseuse remains at Douglas County Corrections and faces criminal charges from at least 20 clients.
