OMAHA — Heavy rains and snow-melt on Wednesday are not only causing rivers and creeks to rise, but also causing flooding on area roads.

Law enforcement agencies are warning people not to drive through heavy water on streets, because it is hard to tell how deep the water is, and only a foot of water can sweep a car off the road.
