On Tuesday night, Omaha business leaders spoke about the city's 2040 project, which is aimed to improve Omaha's future economic position.

Officials unveiled their five-year strategy, which includes a partnership between the Greater of Omaha Chamber of Commerce, the United Way and the Urban League.

"We dit it because we realized that the economy is not just going to be an impact on us in the future," Chamber President David Brown said. "We have to worry about social services, diversity, inclusion, issue that all three of our organizations are worried about and will have something to say about in the future."
