The city of Omaha is working on finding news ways to entice developers to the Riverfront. On Tuesday, the city council approved a study looking into extending Capitol Avenue.
Officials say the goal is to create a corridor enticing to traffic and guests - hoping it will lead to Riverfront development hear the old Rick's Boatyard site.
The study does not specify if its also looking into expanding the newly-established Capitol Entertainment District.
A rough draft is expected to be completed by the end of May.
