OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - The Omaha City Council voted 7-0 to pass an ordinance that allows for the creation of entertainment districts in the city.
The ordinance, which is aiming to foster economic growth near large venues, allows developers to create areas where alcoholic beverages are allowed outdoors.
According to the Omaha World-Herald, Asksarben Village and the Capitol District, which is still under construction, will apply to become entertainment districts.
