Omaha DEA expands to Duluth, Minnesota

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration Omaha Division has expanded to Duluth, Minnesota.

Special Agent in charge Richard Salter Jr announced the opening of the Dulutuh Post of Duty as well as a partnership with the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force at a joint press conference in Duluth today. The Duluth Post of Duty becomes the 11th DEA office in the five state Omaha region.

With the addition of the Duluth office, the DEA now has 240 domestic offices in 23 divisions thoughout the country. The Omaha Division's 11 offices cover Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and counties in Western Illinois and Western Wisconsin.
