OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Omaha Fire Department announced the unexpected passing of Fire Aparatus Engineer Jeremy Knott who would've turned 36 later this month.
Medics took him to CHI Health Creighton Bergan Mercy hospital with CPR in progress. He later died.
The fire department says the cause of his death isn't known at this time.
Knott has been with the fire department since 2007. He later became a paramedic and then a fire aparatus engineer.
Members of the Omaha Fire Department and Firefighters Union offer condolences, thoughts and prayers to Knott's wife and family.
