Omaha Northwest student removed from school after alleged threat Tuesday

An Omaha Northwest student was taken into police custody and removed from campus Tuesday following after allegedly making threats against the school, according to an email sent to parents. 

"We take these threats very seriously and the student will be disciplined accordingly," principal Thomas Lee said in the email. "We are working with our district safety office, our on-site security team and the Omaha Police Department to ensure the safety of our school environment."
