Omaha Police investigate overnight shooting Saturday

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha Police say they found evidence of a shooting near 29th & Lathrop around 2:12 a.m. Saturday.

A little while later, a victim walked into the University of Nebraska Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The victim, Dennis Ratigan, 27, said he was in the area of 29th & Lathrop when he was shot by the suspect.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5'6" - 5'10", 150 lbs with short brush cut hair.
