Omaha Police say two coffee shop robberies may be related

Omaha Police officials believe that two recent coffee shop robberies may be related.

According to OPD, they responded to a robbery call at a Scooters Thursday morning. 

Officers spoke to employees who said a male (possibly Hispanic) in his late 30's with a dark mustache wearing a black hoodie and black pants knocked on the back door of the business.

Authorities say an employee opened the door when suspect pulled the door open and pointed a gun at the employee.

OPD officials say the suspect took money from the cash drawers and property from two employees.

The suspect left in the passenger side of a dark colored vehicle.

Investigators believe this robbery is related to the Wednesday's robbery at Crane Coffee.
