Omaha Police say an ominous message with a threat of violence tomorrow at Omaha North spreading via text and social media today seems to be a hoax.
The message seems to have been sent via an area code from the Los Angeles area (818), according to screenshots circulating on social media.
The message has been sent to schools across the country, OPD Officer Phil Anson said Tuesday night.
"The schools are aware, and police are aware," Anson said.
