A referee from Omaha will blow his whistle at the Final Four this weekend after officiating an Elite Eight game last Saturday.

Unfortunately Kentucky fans are not happy about the loss to UNC, and took to social media to express their anger.

Kentucky fans are upset with John Higgins.  They believe he failed to make a violation call or foul call that helped North Carolina knock off the Wildcats in a thriller.

Wildcat fans have attacked the Facebook page of Higgins Omaha roofing and siding company.

So many people left negative ratings; it dropped his business rating to two stars, before the page went down this afternoon.

3 News Now spoke with Omaha’s other famous referee, the NFL’s Clete Blakeman, and he tells us Higgins is at the top of his game.

Blakeman says “Every game, 50% of the fans are happy, 50%  are upset,  when it comes to emails or social media messages, most I just delete, unless a threat is made."

He also added he loved people passion and tries not to take it personally.

This weekend South Carolina with take on Gonzaga and Oregon will take on UNC.

The games will be on 3 News Now.
