OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha South High School principal Ruben Cano is taking medical leave, not related to COVID-19, according to a letter sent to families Tuesday.
During Cano's leave, Jodi Pesek will serve as the interim principal of South High with the help of the district's principal supervisor.
Pesek has educated students in the Omaha Public Schools community as a teacher and administrator for the last 26 years.
