A 79-year-old Iowa man died Tuesday morning and his pickup truck hit a Treynor residence.
According to the Pottawattamie County Sheriff's Office, Francis Symonds' pickup truck traveled through three residential yards before running into the home.
Symonds was found dead when Pottawattamie County deputies responded to the incident around 8:25 a.m. Authorities say its possible he suffered a medical episode.
The truck crossed over the southbound lane of one of the area's busier roads. It then traveled down a hill over a driveway and down another hill and into the back of a home.
The homeowner was inside at the time of the accident, but was not injured. The home's foundation was partially destroyed.
