Speed and alcohol are being investigated as major contributing factors in a personal injury crash on the Veteran's Memorial Highway Bridge Thursday morning.
Police say a 2005 Honda Accord was traveling west when it struck a piece of parked construction equipment. The driver was pinned inside the vehicle, but was freed by fire and rescue personnel. He was then transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
