Brian Schmaderer, the brother of Omaha Police chief Todd Schmaderer, was injured while responding to a robbery late Wednesday night.
According to a release, Brian Schmaderer was clearing a catwalk when he fell around 10 feet and landed on the floor. He was transported to UNMC by OFD medics.
Brian has been with the department for eight years.
