OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — A new class of officers will be welcomed into the Omaha Police force today.
A class of 55 officers will graduate from the Omaha Police Training Academy. The graduation ceremony will take place at 10 o'clock at the Omaha Public Safety Training Center.
These recruits have undergone an intense 23 week training academy. Upon graduation, the officers will move onto the field training phase of the Academy, which lasts an additional 15 weeks.
