OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Omaha Police Department and other first responders were searching for two missing children this morning and afternoon.
The pair walked away from a daycare near 13th and Atlas. Police said their grandparents live off of 13th and W Streets so first responders were searching in areas between the two addresses.
The children have been found safe. Police say the boys walked to a former foster home because they said they felt safe there. They were found thanks to a call from their former foster mother.
The boys were taken to Project Harmony for further questioning.
The daycare notified police that children were missing at approximately 11:26 a.m.
