The Omaha School District released it's results from the 2016 NeSA test scores on Friday.
OPS says district-wide test scores were up compared to 2015. Reading scores were up two percent in grades 3-6, four percent in grades 7 & 8, and high school scores jumped six percent.
Math scores for grades 3 through 8 were up one percent, while high school scores increased two percent. Science scores increased two percent in grades 3 through 6, but scores fell two percent in grades 7 & 8. High school scores went up 1 percent.
Grade 4 writing scores were up 6 percent from last year, however 8th and 11th grade scores were down one and two percent respectively.
