Wednesday night, OPS Superintendent Dr. Cheryl Logan attended the Omaha 360 meeting.
Dr. Logan addressed the weekly gathering of community leaders, law enforcement and residents about her 90-day plan for the district and her focus areas, which are financial stability, equity of opportunity for students, high-quality teachers and strategic planning to move forward. She also addressed how the district utilizes resource officers.
She said she had not participated in a meeting like this in other communities.
