The original Clancy's Pub in Omaha may be shutting down after its building was purchased.
Clancy's Pub owner Rick Koenig says the location at 72nd Street and Pacific will eventually close. A nearby gas station bought the strip mall where Clancy's sits and will demo the building for an expansion.
Koenig says he bought rights to the Clancy's on Pacific about a year and a half ago. He says the location is the primary source of income for him and his wife.
Koenig says he is still deciding if he will reopen Clancy's in another location nearby or start a new restaurant venture.
The Clancy's Pub in West Omaha is not affected and will remain open.
