OMAHA, Neb. (KTMTV) — One area school district is planning to return to school in August., but taking steps in case that cannot happen.

The Papillion La Vista School Board approved a plan to buy nearly 5,000 Chromebook laptops. They will be used by high schoolers if the district is forced to use distance learning again.

A $375,000 Facebook grant will cover some of the one and a half million dollar cost.
