OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Sometimes sharing facts and figures isn't enough to get people's attention.

A vegan couple cuddled in bed in the Old Market Wednesday afternoon to tell people vegans make better lovers.

They're with PETA, and they got lots of looks while they were in the Old Market over the lunch hour.

The group passed out a vegan starter kit booklet with recipes to get people started on a vegan diet

"This Valentine’s Day PETA wants to remind people that going vegan can give you a boost in the bedroom,” said PETA campaigner Katerina Davidovich. "When you consume meat, dairy, or eggs, that clogs your arteries and slows the flow of blood to all of your organs and not just your heart. So eating plant based foods is a great way to give you a boost in the bedroom and show how sexy compassion can be."

PETA has those free recipes available on their website.
