Papillion-La Vista schools confirm they fired a high school female paraprofessional after a text messaging investigation.
The investigation found the woman sent an inappropriate text message to an 18-year-old student.
Police also investigated but did not arrest the woman because of the boy's age.
The woman has been an employee with the school district since November.
PLHS has notified the boy's parents of the situation.
