Police are investigating if cold overnight temperatures played a role in the death of a man found in an alley Friday.
The man’s body was found behind the Mt. Fuji Inn restaurant, near 72nd and Blondo streets, around 10 a.m., according to police.
"He was gone. He was dead. I thought he was dead. I couldn't tell if was alive or dead, but he couldn't move anything, like that. I just called the police," said John Wicoff, who reported the discovery.
Investigators said the man was dead at the scene. No other details were immediately available.
“Terrible, I just never want to see it again,” Wicoff said.
