What police thought was a standoff situation in Pacific Junction, Iowa is now over.
Police were called early this morning to a home near 195th and Washington Avenue when a woman called 911 saying her ex-boyfriend was suicidal. Sheriff's deputies say he sent her several messages containing pictures of weapons and threatening to shoot. A robot, police K-9 and multiple police agencies responded to the home. Mills County Sheriff's Sergeant Kim Clark says after they arrived, they sent a robot in to look inside the house. "Once the tact team got her they deployed a robot into the residence, deployed in a K9 and then law enforcement entered the residence, cleared the residence and he was not here."
Police are now looking for the man who made the threats.
