Pottawattamie County Sheriff Jeff Danker issued a letter on behalf of the Pottawattamie County Sheriff's Office, thanking everyone for their support following the death of Deputy Mark Burbridge.
In the letter, Sheriff Danker thanks those who have visited the memorial, attended the visitations, dropped food off at the department and helped plan the funeral.
The Sheriff say's he's also grateful to all the men and women of the police community that sent words of encouragement and support.
Sheriff Danker says the outpouring of support made it clear that his department is fortunate to have such a positive relationship with so many people.
