The outage affected customers in South Central Omaha, including the Morton Meadows neighborhood.
The outage has knocked out traffic signals in the area. Blacked out traffic lights should be treated as a four-way stop.
OPPD says the outage was caused by a problem at a substation, and crews are on their way to fix the problem.. There's no word on when service will be restored.
