Can we say, aww?
Candace and Aaron Smith recently welcomed four new members to their family at Methodist Women’s Hospital.
"I was very excited when I saw them. My heart just melted. I fell in love with all of them," said Candace Smith.
Nebraska welcomed it’s first quadruplets since 2015 on February 9th when the Smith family’s three girls and a boy arrived via C-section at Methodist.
"Cassadee is the nosy one. She's very nosy. AJ, he seems like he has a little attitude problem. Skyler, she's the lazy one," said Candace Smith. "And Aaliyah she's the tough girl."
The pregnancy and delivery went smoothly with a team of specialists assigned to each baby in the delivery room. Weighing in between 3 pounds 9 ounces and 4 pounds 12 1/2 ounces, Aaliyah Marie, Cassadee Ray'lee, Aaron Jamal Junior and Skyler La'che are gaining strength in the NICU before their big homecoming.
They're expected to be out of NICU and ready to head home in about 2-3 weeks.
The Jones quadruplets, born at Methodist Women’s Hospital in May 2015, were the last quadruplets on record according to the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
This marks the third set of quadruplets born at Methodist Women’s Hospital since opening in 2010.
