RALSTON, Neb. (KMTV) — Since the Ralston Arena was built back in 2012, it has lost the city money. On top of being in the red, the city has also been dealing with a crumbling parking lot with no way to pay for it. Today they announced a $211,000 contract to re-pave parts of the parking lot.

The city says Mackie Construction will be handling it and that they'll be focusing on the southeast and northeast entrances as well as the curb on the front entrance.
In August of 2018, Ralston Mayor Don Groesser told us they had a plan to patch the lot by utilizing the Ralston City Works Department but it appears plans have changed.
At this time they have not announced when the project will begin.
