Looks like some Omahans took advantage of Friday's record warm temperatures.
NDOR cams showed backed up traffic on I-80 eastbound to Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo.
Omaha police tweeted out that I-80 was slow going from I- 480 to 13th Street.

Zoo officials posted on social media about the long lines.
Officials said that over 3,600 people entered the zoo in the first 45 minutes of their opening.
Due to the weather and the upcoming holiday weekend, officials say the zoo will open one hour earlier at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
They urged their visitors to allow extra time for parking and to enjoy the nice weather.

We're a zoo. It's a zoo. But we're sure happy to have you! Please allow extra time this AM for parking and, of course, to enjoy the weather. pic.twitter.com/lL0mUzpUMj
