The cost of Thanksgiving dinner is up, according to the annual American Farm Bureau report.

They say this year, a classic dinner for 10 will cost $50.11, 70 cents more than last year.

According to the AFBF, there were some turkey production issues this past year because of the avian influenza that spread through parts of the Midwest, including Nebraska and Iowa.

They estimate the cost of a 16-pound turkey to be $23.04, up $1.39 over last year.

The entire report also looks at bread stuffing, sweet potatoes, rolls with butter, peas, cranberries, carrots and celery tray, pumpkin pie with whipped cream, and beverages of coffee and milk.
