Restoration Exchange "heart bombs" historic buildings

A group in Omaha is showing some love for historic buildings in the area.

It's part of an effort through Restoration Exchange to "heart bomb" five vacant historical buildings by covering them with hearts. It's to highlight their potential for reuse.

"Heart bombing was started on the east coast by a preservationist and activist there," said Adam Andrews, Restoration Exchange. "Then a couple years ago, we adopted the practice and really it's just a way to bring attention to buildings that are kind of neglected over the years or forgotten."
